Eutsler manufactures custom rubber grommets for all industries and applications. We have the capabilities to design and manufacture grommets of all shapes, including irregular and odd-shaped parts.
Rubber Grommet Manufacturing
Our staff works with each client to meet their exact requirements for applications ranging from grommets used to manage wires and cables to sealing and insulating grommets for industrial equipment. Our turnkey services include:
- Design services for the grommet to ensure that it meets all the application requirements.
- Design of the custom molds to manufacture the part, ensuring that the manufactured part meets all requirements and is of the highest quality. The molds are machined by a trusted partner company.
- Selection of the most appropriate rubber compound for the grommet, using one of over 300 rubber compounds available, or the creation of a custom elastomeric compound if needed.
- Manufacture of the grommet, including molding, extrusion and die cutting.
Custom Rubber Grommet Applications
Many applications require the grommet to be manufactured using rubber bonded to metal, especially for heavy duty industrial or military applications. Eutsler's experienced staff works with clients to develop the correct combination of natural or synthetic rubber, substrate, bonding agent and metal for each part, ensuring high performance and long life for the custom grommet.
Eutsler can manufacture parts from 1/4 inch to 30 inches, and all parts meet the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) tolerances. Materials available include:
- Acrylates
- EPDM
- Fluoroelastomers
- Natural rubbers
- Nitriles
- SBR
- Silicone
- Urethane
- Specialty elastomers
Eutsler's staff works with each client to ensure that our custom grommets are designed and manufactured to exact specifications. By working with our clients from design through material selection and manufacturing, we are able to provide a cost-effective, efficient manufacturing process for both short and long-run custom projects.
